The Top Cloud Benefits for SMBs

How do SMBs benefit from the cloud? To find out, we recently surveyed 500 U.S. and 100 UK SMB principals.

Across the board, the biggest benefit is cost savings, regardless of company size or location. After that, “anywhere, anytime” access to applications and data is either the second- or third-biggest benefit. Improved security is second for UK SMBs and third for U.S. very small businesses (VSBs, with fewer than 20 employees). Easier management/administration is third for small businesses (SBs, with 20 to 99 employees). Changing processes, or a new initiative, is second for U.S. midsized businesses (MBs, with 100 to 500 employees).
